  2. Condition handling: state the conditions under which a formula, theorem, reaction path or conservation law is valid.
  3. Multi-concept integration: combine two or more ideas only when the problem structure requires it.
  4. Verification: test units, signs, limiting cases, geometry, chemical plausibility or mathematical domain before accepting the result.
