Algebra

Sets and operations; Venn diagrams; De Morgan laws; Cartesian product; relations and equivalence relations; real numbers; complex numbers; binary number system; arithmetic, geometric and harmonic progressions; quadratic equations; linear inequations in two variables by graphs; permutation and combination; binomial theorem; logarithms and applications.

Matrices and Determinants

Types and operations; determinants and properties; adjoint and inverse of a square matrix; systems of linear equations in two or three unknowns by Cramer's Rule and matrix method.

Trigonometry

Angles in degrees and radians; trigonometric ratios and identities; sum and difference formulae; multiple and sub-multiple angles; inverse trigonometric functions; heights and distances; properties of triangles.

Analytical Geometry

2D Cartesian coordinates, distance and line equations, angles and point-to-line distance, circles, parabola, ellipse, hyperbola, eccentricity and axes. 3D points, distances, direction cosines / ratios, line and plane forms, angles, sphere.

Differential Calculus

Real-valued functions; domain, range, graphs; composite, one-one, onto and inverse functions; limits; continuity; derivatives and interpretation; derivatives of standard combinations and composite functions; second derivatives; increasing / decreasing functions; maxima and minima.

Integral Calculus and Differential Equations

Integration as inverse differentiation; standard integrals; substitution; integration by parts; partial fractions where applicable; definite integrals; areas; order and degree of differential equations; formation; general and particular solutions; first-order first-degree equations; growth and decay applications.

Vector Algebra

Vectors in 2D and 3D; magnitude and direction; unit and null vectors; addition; scalar multiplication; dot product; cross product; applications to work, moment and geometry.

Statistics and Probability

Data classification, frequency and cumulative frequency distributions, histogram, pie chart, frequency polygon, mean / median / mode, variance, standard deviation, correlation and regression. Probability includes sample space and events, union / intersection / complement, classical and statistical probability, elementary theorems, conditional probability, Bayes theorem, random variables and binomial distribution.
