NEET Study Plan: Rule-Based Preparation Framework

Build a workable NEET plan from your own time horizon, coverage and revision stage

In short

Choose your time horizon, how much of the syllabus you have covered, your revision stage and the areas you already know are weak. The page immediately renders the matching framework: what belongs in your weekly learning, practice, recall and review slots, and how chapters move between queue states.

You select these yourself. Nothing here is automated detection or a generated profile.

Your plan framework

90-day framework

Three 30-day cycles: cover, practise, retrieve.

  • Split the week between finishing NOT_COVERED chapters and stabilising the ones already learned.
  • Alternate practice and recall on the same chapter within 48 hours.
  • No weak areas marked yet. Mark them above to bias the practice slots.

Days 1–30 — coverage triage

  • List every chapter by queue state, then work strictly down the NOT_COVERED list.
  • Cap new learning at two chapters a day so recall keeps up.
  • Close each day with a 20-minute recall of that day's chapters.

Days 31–60 — practice and error review

  • Subject-wise timed sets, then a written error classification for each mistake.
  • Repeat the specific NCERT pages behind repeated Biology errors.
  • Rebuild formula recall in Physics and reaction conditions in Chemistry.

Days 61–90 — retrieval

  • Previous-year papers under exam timing, one at a time, each fully reviewed.
  • Second and third passes over your own error log, not over fresh material.
  • Weekly checkpoint to keep the revision list shrinking.

Chapter queue states

Not coveredNOT_COVERED

Never studied in this cycle. Enters the LEARN slot first.

Learned, not stableLEARNED_NOT_STABLE

Understood once but not reliable. Needs a recall pass before more practice.

Practice neededPRACTICE_NEEDED

Theory is stable; accuracy and speed are not. Enters the PRACTISE slot.

Revision readyREVISION_READY

Stable. Enters a spaced REVIEW slot instead of a fresh learning slot.

Weekly loop

LearnLEARN

New chapters from the NOT_COVERED queue, read against NCERT and the official syllabus.

PractisePRACTISE

Question sets on what you learned this week and last week.

RecallRECALL

Closed-book retrieval of definitions, sequences and formulas.

Review errorsREVIEW_ERRORS

Classify each mistake yourself using the five categories below.

CheckpointCHECKPOINT

Move each chapter to its new queue state before planning the next week.

Manual error log — Preparation Intelligence v1.1

Knowledge Gap

The concept was never learned properly.

Recall Gap

You knew it but could not retrieve it in time.

Execution Error

Correct approach, wrong calculation or misread data.

Decision / Selection Error

Wrong choice of method, or a question you should have skipped.

Needs Review

You are not yet sure which of the above it was.

You classify your own mistakes. This is a manual student log, not an automated diagnosis.

Resources this plan uses

Mock tests and the weakness finder are planned future integrations and are not part of this plan yet.

How to run the plan honestly

Move chapters between states only at the checkpoint

A chapter leaves NOT_COVERED only after a closed-book recall pass, and reaches REVISION_READY only after a timed practice set you would be willing to repeat. Re-classifying a chapter mid-week hides the gap instead of closing it.

Classify every mistake yourself

A knowledge gap needs relearning; a recall gap needs retrieval practice; an execution error needs slower working; a decision error needs question-selection practice. Treating all four the same way is why revision often stops working.

What is not part of this plan yet

Mock tests and the weakness finder are planned future integrations. Until they are published, the plan uses the resources that actually exist: the official syllabus, NCERT mapping, the three subject libraries, previous-year papers, answer keys, the score calculator and the official exam dates.

Straight answers about how Rank Sarthi fits into serious exam preparation.

No. Rank Sarthi does not publish chapter weightage or predicted question frequency, so the plan is built on official syllabus scope and your own recorded errors instead.
