NEET Score Calculator 2026

Convert your answer counts into an official NEET marks total out of 720

In short

NEET (UG) has 180 questions and a maximum of 720 marks. A correct answer earns +4, an incorrect answer loses 1 mark, and an unanswered question scores 0. Enter your counts below and the calculator returns your marks total immediately, with the full arithmetic shown.

Calculate your NEET marks

All four counts must add up to exactly 180. Whole numbers only — invalid entries are reported rather than silently corrected.

Dropped or no-correct-option questions in the official final key: +4 to every candidate

How this is calculated

  • 180 questions, maximum 720 marks.
  • Correct +4, incorrect −1, unanswered 0.
  • A question dropped or accepted with no correct option in the official final key adds +4 for every candidate who appeared.
  • Your four counts must add up to exactly 180.

This is a marks calculation, not a rank, percentile or admission prediction.

How official final-key decisions are handled

All-candidate bonus questions

When the official final key drops a question, declares it wrong, or accepts none of its options, every candidate who appeared receives +4 for that question whether or not they attempted it. Count those questions in the bonus field so they are added once and are not also counted as correct or incorrect.

More than one accepted option

  • You marked an accepted option: count it as correct (+4).
  • You marked a non-accepted option: count it as incorrect (−1).
  • You left it blank: count it as unanswered (0).
  • If every option is officially accepted: any attempt counts as correct, and a blank stays unanswered.

What this tool will not tell you

Rank, percentile and admission outcomes depend on the full candidate distribution and on counselling data that Rank Sarthi does not publish. A marks total is not a rank, and this page will not imply otherwise.
