NDA Air Force Wing: Flying, Ground Duty pathways, AFSB and CPSS

The Air Force's NDA entry page places recruitment under UPSC and identifies NDA as the training entry route after 10+2 under the applicable educational rules.

Do not freeze old branch names or vacancy numbers into evergreen copy. Display the current UPSC notification's categories at publication time.

Official IAF guidance describes:

• Stage I screening with OIR and PPDT;
• Stage II psychological tests, group tests and interview;
• Stage III CPSS for the Flying pathway under official conditions.

For Flying, current official terminology is CPSS. The official IAF source says CPSS is administered under the Flying selection pathway and is a once-in-a-lifetime test. Prior CPSS/PABT failure has consequences under official eligibility rules.

The frozen Rank Sarthi URL /nda/pabt-test exists for architecture/search continuity, but visible content there must lead with CPSS.

The IAF's official NDA training page says Air Force cadets undergo three years at NDA before further training at Air Force Academy for Flying/Ground Duty pathways. Flying training then progresses through service-defined stages.

Do not promise Fighter, Transport or Helicopter allocation to a candidate based only on preference.

Aviation roles can carry additional medical and anthropometric requirements. Keep exact current standards on /nda/physical-standards with a medical-review gate. Never infer Flying fitness from a single height or eyesight value.

Before selecting Air Force preferences, verify:

• current educational eligibility;
• current notified vacancies/branches;
• CPSS applicability for Flying;
• service-specific medical requirements;
• that your preference is not a guarantee of final allocation.
